Welcome to the official support page for Therapy Notebook.

Therapy Notebook is an iPad app designed to help mental health professionals organize client records, session notes, schedules, and therapy templates.

For technical issues, subscription questions, feedback, or feature requests:

When contacting support, please include:

  • Your iPad model
  • Your iPadOS version
  • The Therapy Notebook app version
  • A brief description of the issue
  • The steps that caused the issue

Please do not include real client names, clinical notes, photographs, or other confidential client information in support emails.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from:

Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions

If an active subscription is not recognized, open Therapy Notebook and select Restore Purchases on the subscription screen.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

iCloud Backup and Sync

iCloud backup is optional and can be enabled from Therapy Notebook settings.

For iCloud features to work:

  • Sign in to iCloud on the device
  • Enable iCloud Drive
  • Maintain sufficient iCloud storage
  • Keep an active internet connection

If data does not appear immediately on another device, open the app on both devices and allow time for synchronization.

Apple Calendar

Apple Calendar integration can be enabled or disabled from the app settings.

Calendar permission can also be managed from the iPad’s privacy settings. If calendar synchronization stops working, confirm that Therapy Notebook still has permission to access Calendar.

Data and Privacy

Therapy Notebook stores data locally by default. Optional iCloud backup uses the user’s private iCloud storage.

The app provider cannot remotely view, recover, edit, or delete records stored on a user’s device or private iCloud account.
